Standards & Manuals
Accreditation Standards for Nuclear Medicine Technologist Education, known simply as The Standards, define the criteria a nuclear medicine technology program must meet to be accredited by the JRCNMT. Standards are updated approximately every five years with input from JRCNMT collaborating organizations, program faculty and educational administrators, the nuclear medicine community, state licensing bodies, other accrediting agencies and the general public.
The Accreditation Manual is intended to guide Program Directors through the entire accreditation process, from writing the self-study to receipt of the accreditation action letter issued by the JRCNMT Board of Directors. The appendix in this manual contains the educational competencies referenced in accreditation standard C2.5.
JRCNMT Policy & Procedure Manual
