 The Joint Review
Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT)
is the nationally recognized accrediting agency for educational
programs for nuclear medicine technologists. Educational programs that
meet or exceed the minimum standards stated in the Essentials and
Guidelines for an Accredited Educational Program for the Nuclear
Medicine Technologist are granted an accreditation status by the
JRCNMT, providing public recognition of such achievement. Program
accreditation is recognized as providing a basic assurance of the
scope and quality of professional preparation.
The JRCNMT is recognized as the accrediting agency for educational
programs for nuclear medicine technologists by the United States
Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education
Accreditation (CHEA).
